| TraumSchatten | The Sun and The Moon Once upon a time there was a little moon It had traveled through the void for ages The end would not come soon It came by many Planets, suns and sages Picked up a light beam here, a light beam there, collected them with love and care Driven on by hope and trust in life Was not out to struggle on it’s strive None could show the moon it’s rightful place None did really see the moon but as a rock The Moon had saved the light deep under lock For should it go to waste he would not go another pace Along the path a sun extinguished and dark Nothing left after blizzards, icy rains and snows But deep inside still lay a lonely hopeless spark The moon, he saw the tiny light beneath the blows Now he used the light he’d saved He dreamed of life and worlds and trust Bad and thankless things he braved Took years to melt the ice’s crust Always was he sure the sun would shine Broke through with strength of believe The cam the day of joy – he’d made it fine Now life on worlds would start to breath He was so full of hope and so content Wasn’t worried when to a further orbit sent But he who is content is under threat In came Another close to the sun – a kiss to get Now all sages see the sun For the moon is left just scorn and fun Will he loose his rightful place? And die alone in outer space? |
